I have been looking at this http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=ROAD&pcode=KON1130-1400&app=Y and it seems to be pretty good. But it doesn't say how much it will lower the front of my car. Idealy I don't want to go down past 40mm.

For around the £300 mark what other kits could I get? I could go up to £350 but that is it. I would quite like a spax kit as my mate has a spax kit and it is so comfy. Very good indeed.

Cheers guys,

Vince

he must be one of the only owners would enjoys the ride quality of spax lol
I used to fit Spax to my old cars but once i tried other brands I never went back.
Bilstein are one of the best on the market. The 106 gti sprintline kit does not have the group N front shocks like the saxo kit and is therefore a lot cheaper. That will cost you £310 + postage so is quite a good deal.
I think Koni's are slightly better than spax but I havent driven a saxo with a Knoni kit to be able to comment on whether its good or not.

Haha, very drifty ;).

I may just go ahead with the 30mm koni kit actually. Ok dumb question, if I don't like how the front end sits I don't surpose I could use like a 40mm spring but still keep like the dampers and stuff?

Well if we are being picky, technically your tools were the tyres :P.

Anyways dude big news. Yesturday day I spotted a clio 182 (same as marks, how I miss that car) but it was lowered. Holy cow dude, it was gorgeous. I know I have a fetish for these cars. I really want one, damn being young and insurance gaying us all over

See now I love the type r A LOT. Especially after hearing the VTEC kick in. But I can't say no to a little French car, with a lot of power and awesome handling to match. I may even go to a Renault garrage again today haha. Oh, how I waist my time off from work

Ok enough whoring my thread now.

Has anyone actually used this particular kit before? If so, was it any good?
