I am 24 years old with 4 years no-claims bonus.
On sunday I phoned up my insurance company, More Th>n, to change my insurance from a clio 1.8 16v to a W reg VTS. I was told that because the VTS is a high risk car, they woulden't insure me!!! I coulden't believe it!! I'm 24 and have 4 years no claims for god sake!!! I had to call another company, AA, and take out a policy with them!!!
Has anyone else had this problem??

Saxos resort to their skills in origami in the event of a crash & todlers can accidently break into them just by playing nearby it. Is stupid that they refused to insure you though.
Use confused.com (http://www.confused.com) & you will find yourself a much better deal

I know iv not got a VTS but i would have gone with Adrian Flux, they give very competitive quotes. Im 21 with one claim and 3 years NCB and got a renewal of £550 including breakdown etc, they also pay out like for like on any modifications. Which other insurers normally don't:y:

You should try bell.co.uk for the VTS. They give very decent and competitive policy prices for the saxo :y:

Yeh last year Bell outdone Admiral by a longshot, since i turned 21 though Admiral have put more faith in me and outdone Bell! I'd still swear by either of these insurers though.
