klunking noise when setting off in 1st

when i set off in first gear my saxo makes a klunking sound the faster i accelerate the faster it is, and onli happens around 1500rpm to about 4500rpm

driveshaft or engine mount

i thought it could be the drive shaft, cos i did go into a kerb at a bit of speed.
is there neway to tell which 1 it could be?
