Just replaced my standard center pipe (with mid box) for a straight piece of pipe without a mid box. It is the correct length, however the bore is slightly smaller. This means the join to the downpipe is blowing.
There is a "ring" that sits between and center pipe and downpipe join but it is too big for the center pipe. This is because i used the one from the standard center section where the bore is the same size as the downpipe.
How can I stop it blowing. Buy a smaller "ring" so it fits the center pipe, but then wont it be too small for the downpipe bore size?
Or is exhaust putty the only option?
Cheers
