Months Insurance

This might be stupid, but could i insure my self on a car for just a month, and me being the only one insured.
For some reason i thought only named drivers could be insured for certain periods at a time??

and how much roughly would it be for 1 month on a vts at 19?

If the car isn't insured at all you can add it to your own policy temporarily. If the car is insured by someone else then you can get them to add you as a named driver temporarily. You can try day insure as long as you're 21 and I think you have to have a clean license

you dont have to be 21 to get day insurance my mates gets insured on his golf gti by the day

i had no problem getting insured on my mums corsa for a month at a time before i got my car.. think she was with direct line or hastings at the time
