if i put a sticker on the outside car bodywork and wanted to take it off will it ruin or pull the paint work off with it.

shouldnt do mate , as long as your careful when u peel it off. Or jus get a heat gun/hair dryer on it and it will peel off even easier. But dont get the heat gun too close to the paintwork or the paint will ripple
