I've got 17/205/40 wheels on my Vtr and I have a problem when I put them on full lock I took the mud guards out but they rub against the chasis. Any one know what I can go about this as my car due an MOT and I dont think it will pass if they wont go on full lock without rubbing.
Do you think I could grind down some of the chasis or is that gona seriously damage its structure?

hammer the area where it rubs, if you knock it back far enough it should be k. also try removing the thick layer of sealer as this may help you too

just dont put 17's on a saxo lol, you coul dbuy some spacers which might give you a little more clearance and stop the rubbing

ye, ive got 17s with a 40mm drop. my used to catch but i hammered the area with a heavy duty lump hammer. if it doesnt catch then it will pass mot. but remove the sealant and paint it back up
