Temp gage

Hi,

My temperature gage has suddenly started to move up and down constantly. My car has never over heated so any 1 got any ideas. I think it might be the temperature sensor but not sure. Cheers

Yip sounds like your temperature sensor. try taking it out and giving it a clean. Its the green one if you didnt already know.I picked a one up from the scrappy to test mine but it turned out the thermostat was knackered.Typical.think theyre about a tenner.Good luck keenan. Dont know if its blue for the 98bhp and vts though. Might just need the contacts cleaning too or a faulty wire.
