Hi, i go on holiday on 14/08/07 so i have roughly 2 months.

I want to be toned for when i go.... i am rather slim/skinny/scrawny whatever you want to call it so i dont think it will be too hard as i dont need to lose weight, prob put it on if anything. But want to look ripped....

Abs, Chest, Arms Mainly.

Can anyone give any advice ? should i use any supplement's.

My mates have all started using steroids, and i dont really want to. Therefore they are all going to be massive (well should be) and i wont be lol so need to do something to look a bit bigger / toned.

Can it be done in 2 Months! And What do i need to do!

I know, main reason why i want to tone up the proper and legal way...

i did consider it but after reading about them and stuff, there just not worth it. plus a lad i know has recently had liver problems because of them

I am the same and at the moment i hammer the rowwing mechine which help get the arms going then spend about 30mins lifting weights. Then befor i go bed at night i spend 30mins you lifting, mean thing to try and do is to get ur arms so they feel like there burning, that way when they heal they will be more toned and lil bigger, just keep at it as much as u can.

Try swimming too :y: I goto the gym every other night and swim 3 times a week, works a treat all over!

Using steriods will turn your balls into peas and your heart will have severe problems for life, Stay well away as the muscle is not worth it.

You want to get to the gym every other day and work on all your muscles. Eat good healthy food to feed your muscles and rest properly to prevent damage.

Dont do reps, do time.

15 Seconds @ 60% intensity (no rest, straight up to 80%)
30 Seconds @ 80% Intensity
10 Seconds Rest
45 Seconds @ 90% intensity

A full workout on arms, chest, shoulders, legs & back. Do the above on the machines not free weights. The last few reps of the last set should be a real struggle to press. But not impossible, getting the balance right isn't hard, and dont be bothered about starting on a lower weight to finish the set.


Then for the abs.

20 Situps, 10 Second rest 20 Situps (Lay on your back with your legs bent and when you situp just put your hands slighty over your knees and back down again)

then 20 crunches (same as situps but dont go all the way down, keep your abs 'crunched')

Then get a medicine ball (8kgs is fine) get in the upright situp position so your legs are bent and your sitting up, then twist to the left and right holding the ball to your stomach. 20 reps.

This is about an hours workout, once youve done that if youve done it properly you should be wrecked. In two months time you should have toned up nicely and gained a bit of mass. After each week try adding to each set with a 105% intensity for 15 seconds etc etc.

I usually do the above on a saturday as i have a couple of days rest till im back in the gym on tuesday then stick to the free weights during the week as its pretty intense but for a fast fit routine it will do magic providing you eat right get good rest and dont push yourself over the limit.

id rather just be skinny then if any of them banter you for being skinny, you can abuse them for injecting needles into there arses. cheating bastards.

A guy that started going to the gym at the same time as me n a mate blew up massive and we were like wtf hows he done that.....

Asked him and he was on roids, one of my mates had an arm wrestle with him (whos not muscular but not skinny) and beat him. Also when i took the piss out of his roasted nuts he said the roids made his balls bigger and it was injecting in the dick that made them smaller (as body builders dont show that at shows) ya' really.........

Moral of the story, if you want to damage your body, only look big and not be strong unless you've had a shot, ruin your ego & potentially get laughed at by every woman you see....... have roids.

So true, and that other idiot who was having heart troubles & strokes etc and said it was down to stress etc and not steroids!!!!! haha

Personally i think its like resistor chips and electric superchargers, if its cheap and easy to do then its not gonna do that much good!!!!

Haha my mate at Topgear performance in Doncaster started doing roids when we were training together. Power lifting weights i struggling to pick up with both hands. But i saw him in the gym last night and he tore his shoulder lifting weights his body could not. You get too out of your depth if you take steriods. They get huge results and if taken properly can make you look immense (see wwe superstars and tell me im lying) but they are dangerous and will fook you up in the long term.

Its such a shame I see young lads in the gym (im 21 so anyone same age or younger lol) roided upto fuck. Just mass, no definition and think wtf are you playing at mate. Theres no lines on their bodies at all and I would never want to be like that. Whats the point? Much prefer having a slim waist and broad shoulders like I have. Women dig it more too! :)

But getting back to my mate who was on roids, he was just huge bulky strong muscle which led to him tearing his delts to shit trying to lift weights he couldnt lift after he finished his course. He said to me I was in better shape than he has ever been, even if im taller and probably weigh a little less. I was like you at the start though but as you progress over time and eat your way into oblivion you will see results mate. Good results!

Steroids dont actually make your muscles bigger thay just reduce the time they need to repair or so it seems so you can train more. Its a common misconception that they make you bigger if you take them and dont train you will not actually get any bigger.
