Hey guys (and gals), can anyone help?

There's a squeaking noise coming from my engine on tick-over. The noise becomes quicker as I move up the revs, then at around 2k, it dissapears. It is not affecting the drive in any way.

I've oiled the fan belt more than once and this has not solved the problem so I don't think its this.

Can anyone shed some light on this please. Your help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for looking!:A:

i wouldnt oil the aux belt, it would possibly cause it to slip and not charge properly

Hey Steve.

Yeah, its coming from the left hand side (if you're looking at the front of the car) of the engine.

Maybe one of the belts is a bit loose?
