you only been driving one year will have a huge effect, i imagine it was above £2000 when you first insured the car right?
To be honest it is quite cheap in my view for a vts with 1 years no claims...
try Quinn.

Brentacre are pretty good, think thats their name. Also, HIC (if thats right) seem pretty reasonable.

Is that it? I was paying £1800 on my first car, now im paying £2300 with my new car, im with Quinn..Just turned 18.

If I registered my insurance under my fathers address in oxfordshire, it would have been £400, but was unable to, due to billing address they would have found out :P

Just Quinn Direct also, they let you have as many mods as you like with no extra cost.

Seconded. Online quotes do usually include a discount but if you ring them up they may drop the price even more. The person you are speaking to can drop the price at the click of a mouse.

I got quoted £1400 on my fiesta 2 years ago. I kept haggling over the phone and she agreed to drop it to a grand if i took out the policy there and then.

What kind of things did you have to say to get them to lower the price? "Its a big steep if you ask me" that kind of stuff?

Im 21 with 2 years no claims and insurance is £750 on vts fully comp. You gotta lower your mileage, have a decent alarm and what not. You just need to shop around. Get some online quotes with money supermarket then pick the cheapest 3 and go on their actual sites. Then call them up.

I'd say the one thing to remember is a good quote is something you are happy to pay. Insurance changes massivly for each different person. IF your happy to pay a certain amount its a good quote imo :)
