What air filter do you have on it?

does the car do it if you start it up without a filter?

Firstly remove your air filter and see if the problem consists. Are there any lights coming up on your dash board?

If this problem doesn't continue when you take the filter off. You know there is a problem with the filter or the air getting to the filter.

If the problem continues and the engine diagnostic light comes on your dash board, i recommend you get it wired up to a diagnostic kit.

How does the car run after you started it (if it starts at all).

You may have a issue with the way your car is firing. Possibly new HT Leads?

If starts and continues to choke, possibley need a new coil pack.

Hope this helps pal. :y:

i had this problem. mine ended up being a fuel pipe as the engine moves when starting up it wobbles the fuel pipe. and thts when the petrol leaks. because if the petrol leaks, it will starve the engine and it will cause the engine 2 choke
