Theyre good quality, my mates got one. Well built, good sound, decent features, but the screens a bit pointless imo

tbh i wouldnt have one, may as well save a bit more for a motorised screen if you want to watch dvds or get a dvd headunit and have a screen in the glove box (have a look at stevenet15's screen build)
i really dont rate JVC for there car audio stuff, much rather stick with the likes of clarion, pioneer and alpine for there headunits

Blaupunkt are good for low cost, high quality units with decent audio and less of the flashy designs. Nakamichi are pretty decent sound quality too, hefty price though

well im not really after a big screen i just thought it was different and had quite a cool design im after a head unit really with a screen thats shows some form of visuilisations! i saw them sony cdx m8800 on ebay for pretty cheap and they looked quite smart im not massively worried by the quality of the headunit as they will be all pretty descent and aventually i will be amping all my speakers anyway

if you want visual on the headunit you cant beat pioneer really, they have oel displays and have visual effects and am sure some new ones you can add your own images onto it
tbh with a screen that size on the jvc its hardlies worth watching imo
also heard of people saying it gets stuck when you eject the disc, may not be on a saxo am not sure
good thing about it though is you can connect screens up to it, ie sun visor screens

JVC you can't go wrong, iv had two of the latest top model JVC units all that iv had problems with was when it was damn freezing in the winter it didnt like it one morning but after engine warmed up it started fine. no problems. They are quality and have awesome design with great features. Alot of audio stuf fout there but imo for looks and quality u can't give it a miss. but for like others said the little screen doens't do it justice. (all JVC top models are customiseable) i have my own club's logo moving and doing fancy stuff on my colour screen jvc :)
caraudiosecruity are great for jvc headunits :)

when i first fitted the kdavx1 i thought that the screen would be to small to see and didn't see the point in it BUT it was really supprising they are really good well worth it also that is a cheap price. i would stay clear of ebay unless it states that it is brand new as if you buy it and it is fcuked you may have probs getting your money back. I say go for it.
