All 15" alloys on a saxo should have 45 profile tyres, it keeps the speedo accurate (well as possible) you could have 50 profiles but I wouldn't recommend it, will look :homme:

If your not lowered you should be fine, but they will look like tracker wheels

Right think i will go for something different then, Which proxies T1-R or T1-S

I was running 195/50s on my 205 GTi alloys and I had no problems. Snewham has them now.

The 45 profile and 50 profile is the percentage of the width (195) so almost a cm all the way round the rim so 2 cm in total.

there isnt much difference but the 195/45 are the recommended size and they also look better. the 45 also give better arch clearance if your car is slammed

I would have said go for the 45 myself as thats whats on my S rims sitting in the garage.

Unless you have been offered a good set of 50's then Id go for the 45's

Well i can get michelins with a 50 profile for £44 a piece. If i want 45 profile the price nearly doubles:wall:
