Ok....ive only had my VTS a month and already I have a problem! Can someone please help me sort it.

I de-cattted my car last weekend and covered the lambda sensor in a sleeve bought from GMC. This kept the engine management light off for about 2 days until it randomly popped up when I was driving to work doing about 70 mph (motorway). I have now removed the de cat pipe as I didnt want engine problems. So I have put the catalytic converter back on and the lambda sensor has been put back into the cat (under the car) BUT the engine mangement light is still on!! :( :(

I disconnected the battery to reset the ECU but this hasnt worked.

I really hate these sort of problems as it seems noone can pin point the problem. I just hope someone can help me........

My car stats:
MK2 VTS 03 Reg

Please help me out

So much for the help!.....fortionately the light has now gone out. I believe the ECU takes a while to read the sensor once it has been replaced in the cat.
