Whistle noise

I have a 1.1i saxo...when i change gear it makes a whistle noise kinda of...sounds abit like a spaceship....anyone no what that could be? and would putting a k&n filter in it make it sound any better? cheers :y:

get more of a sporty aggressive noise from a k&n, could be wheel bearings or something the noise? my veccy c inlet on the astra makes a good whissle on acceration could be something like that.

yea well i already got a nice backbox with exhaust i might invest in one...the only prob is dont they take more fuel....like to drink it?

I used to get 330 miles to a tank in yours Ben... and I never had that whistle problem either...! :ponder:
