Hia not sure if anyone has had the same problem tried to search it but could not find a answer. When driving the car feels fine but when I put the clutch in there is a loud ratling noise and it oes when you bring the clutch back out does anyone know what it might be?

It wont be the clutch bearing if it happens when you put the clutch in, Mine has gone (and been gone) for months now. It sqweels like a pig when the clutch is up and you drive, as soon as the clutch goes down the noise stops.

Still not saying it isent a clutch problem, just saying it isent the clutch release bearing from personal experiance.

i had this. was a combination of thrust bearing and the layshaft in my gearbox. i lost gears after a few months of ignoring it.
