right- haha. i have had my car for a while and have only just realised that them dogy thing are actually sensors for the alarm system. i popped the bonnet and have noticed ther is a toad alarm in ther?

now i have located all the wires, but what would i need to buy in order for it to work? lol

did you get any booklets with the car for the alarm??

might be best to take it to a alarm fitter tbh, wont cost much if the wires are all there, probablies a few hours labour

no dint get owt, the car is knackered tbh mate, only cost 400 quid.

wouldnt i need a alarm fob or sumot 2 set it?

yeah there not that much any fitter will supply them mate, although mine is used with the standard fob, take it to a proffessional and get a quote :y:

do all toad alarms look the same, just checked on website n the bit in the bottom looks like the Toad Ai606. it must b a cheaper 1

well yeah there speaker bit is the same usually, has a green front on it, you should of got a certificate with the car unless the owner has forgotten to give you one like, it will tell you on that which model it is as theres a quite a few different models

nah dint get owt with the car, are alarms wired up to the central lockin or sumot?

haha your from shipley! im in wrose mate,

tbh my cars not even worth having the alarm system in it, all the panels have been kicked in (last owner had tried bangin them out from the other side with a hammer! what a noob, looks a rite fcuking messs! lol, both sides aswell, gutted.

just saw it ther wen opened bonnet n fort it mite b alrite to have it wired in, mite just sell it if its worth owt, doubt it tho.

yeah mate usually are wired up to the central locking so the alarm goes off/onn when you lock/unlock it

hey mate im from guiseley and i had a atoad allarm fitted by a guy locally he's a mobile fitter of toad allarms great guy here's his contact detailes if ya need to give him a buzz im sure he will be able to help ya even it is replace a sensor
