Sata 2

I've got two 500 gigs running raid so they are show as 1 with 1000 gigs or whatever :P

Just ran aida 32 which shows the speeds of the hard drives and its reads speeds show to be able 90 meg? My IDE drives are at about 60 which I can believe but ain't sata 2 suppose to run at alot higher?

Anyone got any tips on making them read faster and so on?

ive got a feeling although SATA 2 is capable of in theory being over twice as quick as IDE, not even IDE was ever used to full protential by manufacturers.

So im guessing they may not be able to go any fast in the RAID. Don't quote me on that though, please correct me if i am wrong!
