i personally like a sealed box mate, its entirely up to you, id go to an ice dealer who have a sealed and ported box set up and listen to them before you make a decision

OR its just a shit box choice ;) my friend got a 10" tornado in a bandpass box and it sounds better than 2 12" so im thinkin bandpass

well with a 1000 watt sub id imaging the right size box would fill the boot tbh

is the sub a dual type??

as you can wire it up at different ohms

its a dual 4 ohm subwoofer and im thinkin that too if the box is gunna fit in the boot do you think it would??

well im gunnaq messure the boot and then make the meassurements for the box

well if you go onto the rockford fosgate it tells you how to wire them up at different ohms, all depends what sub and amp you have tbh

ave seen someone fit an RE sub in the right size box and it took just about all the boot up, it would fit just all about trial and error

+ to + and - to -. that will run the sub at 2 ohms. What amp do you have as i tryed to run my 3004spl from a smaller kenwood amp and it sounded shit, if you are underpowering it the sub WILL sound crap.
