wiring???

hi, just bought another vtr and it has a wiring problem, stereo wires have burnt out, now the car wont start unless you run a live to the fuel pump, the electric windows dont work, dash lights dont work. any ideas??? also the car has a clifford alarm, just wondering wheter this could be the problem with the fuel pump, as a cut off or something to do with the immobiliser?? Any thoughts would be great. Matt

the pump maybe wired to the cars immobilser - key.if you have checked all the fuses then it could be your ignition wire burnt out. try sourcing any burnt/melted wires

yeh ive found the burn out wires mate, all i can see is the stereo wires. battery is dead in my alaram keyfob so ill get a new and try 2moro. just other probs thats doin my head in, anywhere got wiring diagrams??

the saxo haynes manual will have the wiring diagram in. im pretty sure someone may have posted the diagrams so try searching for them

i would change the alarm key fob as the alarm may have an immobilser. if not then its the wires burnt out then-ignition
