I had to insure my 1.1 saxo few weeks ago, i decided to put it on my mums insurance.. as the principal driver. my insurance came to £1900 is that a rip-off or average price?

Sounds a bit expensive to me. Who was that with?
I insured a 1.0i with Elephant for £800 couple years back...

I am with 'direct line', I tried a few others but all seemed about the same.

direct line were toss for me. Try places like quotelinedirect and quinn.

DirectLine have always been expensive mate.

Im with direct line at the moment, on my mums insurance, with a 1.1 106, im only payin £605

im £2100 on me dads insurance with direct line they are rip offs but at the same time the cheapest i can find :(

Thats to expensive i am 18 and i have a 1998 Saxo VTS, insured on my own and i have bin driving 1 year and have no no claims and i only paid 1400 with bell insurance. Try them mate cos they are well cheap, or go on moneysupermarket.com.

im with swinton and im 22 years old with 0 years NCB and im paying £700 a year for a saxo 1.1 desire mk2 x reg, try confused
