Roof lining rattles

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problme with the roof rattling behind the passenger seat just above the rear seats. Its so annoying some simes if i just push the roof it stops but soon returns. .

Has anyopne else had this and sorted it?

my mum has that problem in her corsa (don't laugh its a company car so we dont pay for it) hers rattles at the front she just hits it and it stops! mind you i don't think you could hit the back if your drivin smileys/smiley2.gif

Well i do just manage to hit the back to staop it rattling but then 5 mins later it comes back i might have a closer look on my next day off see iff there is somin loose up there.

there myt b the tiniest bit loose but it still makes a racket i fixed my mums by putting loads of pressure on it for about 10 mins it stil hasn't made a noise for about 3 months

I have heard with some saxo with sunroofs it can make a right racket from the metal bar or something hitting the roof but i dont think its that.

well check out wot it sounds like and try to work out wot material it sounds like (stupid i know) c if it still makes the noise with the sunroof open

I have the exact same noise but it isnt too loud as it used to be, but mine used to come from behind the driver seat.

Just used to hit it when it started and it would stop for a bit

I still cant work out what it is when the sunroof liner is pushed back i get another rattle. I think i might just stick with my nomral method of hitting it to stop it. .

if you can takt the sunroof liner out check to see wots happenin then if you can find somethin to pad it out with eg a tea towel (might sound stupid but i can blame it on bein a girl)

open your sunroof and edge it out it myt work i havent realli looked at a saxo sunroof before more interested in other parts of it (like the back seat hehe)
