i posted this problem a while ago when my car started to cut out on me then fire up when it rolls 2 a stand still. i found this out to be the lambda sensor (Cable)?? think ive got it write!? anyway it happened 2 b shorting out on the back of the exhaust as was touching and burnt the wire (ps the new wire cost me £130 from citroen? yes it did leave me skint.

anyway i wanted to find out you lucky people who have a vts or vtr not sure if its the same or not where you have your lambda sensor (Cable)running mine goes behind the exhaust and gets far 2 hot and melts away 2 nothing after a few months. has the prev owner of my vts had this replaced and they ran it behind the exhaust by mistake or should it run behind the exhaust???? oh thank god 4 that. please help smileys/smiley19.gif smileys/smiley19.gif

mine runs behind the exhaust from memory but it is wrapped in a heat tape again from what i can remember. It shouldnt be hard to re route the wire though or even cable tie it away from the exhaust
