View Full Version : Saxo 1.1 squeaking noise from brakes

Hi i have a problem with my car everytime i seem to brake i hear it squeaking and even once im off the brake it makes a small squeaking sound any ideas what this problem could be? i only had the front brake pads changed only 6 months ago.
any help would be great :y:

it sounds stupid but try putting a hose pipe on full blast (jet setting) stick it right up next to your calipers and give them a good clean, this clears out any crap that may be caught in the brake pads
i do this every time i wash my car and ive never had squeaky brakes!

does that really work mate? so i spray it under the wheel arch yeh or somewhere else? ill give it a go no harm in trying thanks for the tip top man.

Might be the calipers are rusted and the sliders arent moving freely, its like it on mine need to get them sorted.

yeah stick it down between your disc and caliper and spray if you have alloys it will be easier if not just blast through the holes in your steelies should help and yeah clean your arches while your at it! less mud and crap up there the better hope i helped!
