have now got my GMC 4-1 manifold, i have a mk1 vtr (silvertop) and i have a bit of a problem with fitting. On the old manifold (standard 1) the lambda is in the side of the manifold on the down pipe, where as the GMC 1 has the hole for the lambda next to the flange where the cat was.

Has ne1 else had this problem. i thought maybe its because ive been sent the wrong type (unsure whether there is another type of manifold). If not then how do u get the lambda to the where the hole is in the new manifold

cheers

that is the correct position for it, if it was in only one of the pipes the sensor would only read from one cyclinder and this could be fine while all other three are suffering and in worst case senarion lead to a dead engine.

I havent ever unplugged my lambda so im unsure it it can reach down to the hole, if not give gmc a quick phone to make sure you can cut the sensor off and just join it back up with longer wire
