This was the front plate of the tv simply superglued onto the front of the glove box, with a massive hole at the back for the circuit board. I also managed to move the catch aswell, so that the glove box can still close and clip shut.
next i had to sort out the back of the box flap. i had to tear out so many bits to get the circuit board in, it was hard to relocate the back of the catch, but i managed to stick it in using odd bits of plastic i had lying around:

Im in the midst of sticking a circular piece of perspex in the big hole with a few air holes in to let it breathe. :y:
Heres a trial fit... need to drill new hole for the catch to go into:

im linking this up to a tiny dvd player from hongkong. was a steel at 20 quid and plays anything on dvd, sd/mmc/ms card reader and usb memorystick reader. The audio is linked from the tv to the aux in on my headunit.

... i love family guy :A:
all cables will be drawn up through back of glove box, and the box its self tidied up. Plan is to build perspex shelf and mount dvd player on.... with blue neon tube lighting :afro:
Also built in switches to turn on the gear without fumbling around in glove box (see dash)

What do ya think... any ideas welcome!!!!
