ASW thread but i don't give a shite!:y:

Been utterly fed up/pissed off for a while now and having worked at the same place for exactly 8 years i finally decided to grow some bollox and look for a change. Well i've got it. Had the interview just after i came bask form thr Ring, then had a call to go for a medical and today had the phone call offering me a job! Going from a cabinet maker/fitter to a Custody Detention Officer. Basically working at a police station in the custody suite booking people in and out, moving them from cell to van, getting puked on, hit, etc, etc. Actually the last 2 sound like most nights in my town.....

Anyways, have to write my resignation letter soon, i don't think "go fcuk yourself" would do somehow :oops:

Congratulations mate.

Bet you are well chuffed. Is the Evo still going? Or have you been given a MASSIVE wage increase and will be keeping it ;)

Unsure at the mo, its too far to use the evo as the fuel bill would cripple me, but it is a decent increase. will prob nick the old womans micra to start with, maybe get a lickle di, die, dies...... can't say it, oil burner :oops: to use and see if i can keep the beast as toy.

I really need to get myself a new job..... I'd like a total change in occupation like you, but I'm not sure I'd get the money I'm on now. I'd like a practical job, but don't wanna start as an apprentice cause that would mean a pay cut of about £15K.

I just left work on Monday, which was a bit of an annoyance, looking for a new direction now.

I wasn't asking in a :homme: way, I meant in the situation of the inmates kicking off etc.

Oz, going to be based at Cheltenham nick ( i think), but will probably have to do shiftes at Gloucester and Stroud as well.
