Got my Helmet for FCS... [Archive] - Saxperience

Seeing though I am going to purchase the track session tomorrow, I decided on looking for an helmet and started bidding on one.

It ain't the top notch helmet, but it does it's job that I want it to.

Got it for bargain price of £8 excluding delivery, not bad eh?

Yeah, I will take it easy so I don't care if I get laughed at for driving slower than rest as I don't wanna bin the VTR.

I'm on standard brakes still, but I won't be thrashing it round either. Tyres are nearing limit too, but I'm planning on replacing them after the show/track session.

Cant wait for the track session either, i got an omp helmet as i plan on going on the track quite often after this if i enjoy it!!

I have my s rims with nankang rubber that is brand new and i have my vtr rims with avon near new rubber. Dont know which ones to run.

When actually is the sax-p track session? can we all get public access to view etc? if so me and my brother will have to get down there and take some pictures/video footage ... :)

The track session is between 11am - 11.30am, so I presume we need to be near the front for getting away purposes. There was public access last year at TRAX so can't see any reason why they won't be at FCS.

Well with the NinjiBongo tyres on the s rims your going to head straight into the gravel.

I would not expect any less Luke :P, will be taking it easy.. get a feel for the track to be honest. Only want to get some experiance in before i start using me black car.

Get rid of the blue and red strips and you have my first helmet that i had for the motorbike. Now have my new one - still white but with an electric blue mohawk on it lol
