right me and leckie have just joined gym, and there is some sunbeds there, i quite fancy going on these. Whats best way to start on them timewise, Do i need any cream if so wot cream and link me please

depends if you're dark skinned or not. i started off on 5, but when someone had just been in - so it didnt take 4 mins to warm up. now i do 10 mins with cream (helps you maintain your tan). i only do it about a month before i go on hols tho

idealy work your way in, they recommend 2 sessions of 3 mins then to 6 mins and see how you go on, the creams are good too but might make you a bit red so i wouldnt do it on the same night your going out on!

the sunbeds at the gym i used to work at were like being in the fooking suns core lol max there was 10mins, i'd advise cream whatever you do tbh mate!

Louise's Recommendations...

If you are fair skinned, you want to start off at 3 minutes and work your way up. If your not fair skinned and usually OK in the sun without turning into a lobster then you are OK to start off at 6.

You can buy special creams, but it's best to pay for the cream that they supply. Be warned if you go on too much at first, you will turn red.

girls thing! i havebeen on and go on very rarly, last time i went on was because i came out in a rash weeks ago got told it mite be eczema even though im 21 and no history of it in me or family n it came on in heat so went on the sunbed to see how it reacted. but im darker skinned for a white always look slightly tanned so dont need to thank god, (not seen adverts n what not what it does to u :P
