Amps work
like when you work, you get warm.
Its the same for an Amp.
They are designed to carry this heat to their outer casing. Ventilation then lets that heat flow away.
If you get worried, could always fit pc fans running off of the P-remote and ground
exactly. thats why its important to keep clearance around your amp... make sure you dont bolt it on the rear of your seat, there not as efficient at cooling and so wont be as loud. most amps turn off now as they get to ohot any way.

Its also good practice not to turn your amp to full or sound system on full until the amp has warmed up. I have blew 2 amps due to this.

I once had 3 large black widow amps and the boot had a missing grommet under the carpet, there was a time I didn't need the boot for a couple of months and when I finally opened it there was the weirdest blue fungus growing.
...and they say God created life.
