To be honest i doubt the strike will make them any slower than usual...

Willsy has tried sending me some clips twice... both well over a week ago... to my correct address and still not received...

i work at the royal mail an we've been workin like bitches the last few days so that there is no mail at all before 3am an then it just builds up all day an then am workin saturday all day to get it sorted

yer will delay my speakers off ebay no doubt. He posted them today but was told they would be delayed due to strike.

Looks like the posties are shooting themselves in the foot cos they wikllk have to work twice as hard to get the back logg clear afterwards

your right mate i'm not actual royal mail staff so am not strikin but i work with an agency an work in the sorting office. thing is if they dont get what they want this time, they'll strike for 2 days and then 3 days etc etc

as much as ill stand by the union i wont loose that amount of pay! one days bad enough to be fair

if that happened i think a lot of people would also return to work

its is a bit of a bitch how it just gets backlogged, not like when such things as the trains go on strike

saturday should be fun, although they threw quite a bit at us today so there wont be an awful lot missed tommorrow

They are set to go on strike at 3am and cause major delays with post, especailly on monday!

I am sooooooooo annoyed as i will be waiting longer for my mirrors and i can't drive my car and i definately need them by monday!

will anyone else be affected?

i get promos (music from record labels) in my door all the time so they will not be coming

my rear quater panels,chrome rocker cover,wing mirrors (which i think i been ripped off anyways so maybe getting some other ones off another sax-p memeber), two radio mics,new denon dnx1500 mixer,upper strut brace for my dads BMW from strutbracers and last thing is Nintendo DS from u furiofanatic (be paying for it on monday to lol)

and a packet of crisps lol (joking on that one lol)

BTW how long is the strike on for???????

like all strikes payment. what royal mail offered is not up to what the union want.

and the buisness plan royal mail are enforcing is not what the union expect as they had agreed a alternative plan a while back before RM changed there minds in order to save yet more money

or something like that i think, i really should listen and pay attention

Royal Mail are hopeless.

Cloud sent me a CD on Monday 1st class and I didn't receive it until yesterday (Thursday). I also need to send a cheque for my helmet for FCS and I don't reckon that will arrive before end of next week.

I don't trust them one bit.

well my office is opposite Mile End's post office thingy.

They've got a bbq running and everything.

One of the blokes i work with, his wife is the financial director for The Royal Mail.

Last month she was offered a Z4 M Coupe as a company car, Turned it down and asked for a porsche instead.

And they wonder why their not making money :S

actually people there will be post.

if youve sent a special delivery then they will be delivered.

deliverys are being made by management.

1st class or below will be delayed

if you can get a tracking number from whoever you bought it off you can tell them to leave it with a neighbour.

otherwise they will probably leave a card for you to go collect from the depot.

Wanna see the letter I got off npower 2 days ago.. straight the the point. Thought it was fake at first.. then checked numbers and it wasent :(

I left npower and brittish gas 3 months ago and there still chasing me for money.. i paid brittish gas what i owed them and they sent me a bill through about 2+ weeks ago asking for another 203 pounds.. feck off? lol
