What's everyones plans then?

Today - Going down to Estate Agents to sign for a house. We have decided to rent for a couple of years as mortgage payments were like £950 a month because my age and it's pretty outrageous. We found a lovely 8 year old house on a nice estate about 5 minutes from us that looks over the aire valley.

Saturday - Well I'm doing the night shift with Ruby so I could be tired, but I think we are off to look at furniture and then a meal in the evening.

Sunday - Not got much planned, but I'm back at work on Monday.

Today/tonight - finish work at one :p, maybe giving my mates type r a good clean if the weather hold out.

Sat - Work 9-1, then out to the cornerhouse in town to see a good dj play.

Sun - Recover from saturday, and I'm off work until thursday :p

today - finish work at 1, then out to play with my new camera, then round to the gf's house as we are going camping soon at the tent needs a minor fix.

saturday - not much, lazy day and prob out for a curry or chinese

sunday - finish my mates audio and then try and get my braided hoses done, then smoke my headlights if i have time, oh and paint my rocker covers.

Tonight - Make my way across London to where the girlf works, meet her work colleagues and go to the Dodgems with them.

Tomorrow - Powerspray my Mum's Patio and fit laminate flooring in her porch, then come home and do some DIY in my own house, might go see Pirates of C 3 in the evening.

Sunday - Finish any DIY I didn't get done Saturday, go and buy a new BBQ and take the old one to the tip.

Tommorow- Get my euros, get a hair cut, get some fresh trainers and a pair of shorts. Then out for a mates 18th from school in the evening.

Sunday- work 2-10, 24 hour garage is closing to turn into an M & S so it should be an eays day ;)

Monday- relax, update ipod and pack suitcase

At the current ex rate thats £73 per unit.

Thats costly considering they sell in Game for 100 notes with a game.

Also remember import duty/tax that will sting you also

We said we will do it because if take a mortgage, get into debt then we are basically fooked. If we rent for a couple of years, I'll be 21 on more money and more companies will allow us to get a mortgage.

Just remember that all the time you are renting you are lining someone else's pocket and you won't have anything to show for it at the end... also remember you will need to save up some money for a deposit when you do buy a house, so paying rent and saving for deposit might be hard.

Come December time though, Louise's car is going so that is £200 a month better off and only running one car. I already have some savings, so we can just add to that.

Renting is dead money, but with me been 19 and a lot of companies are funny about mortgages, it's the only option.

Luke allot are funny about mortgages yes, but if you look around hard enough like I did you will find some decent ones, I know i got offered a damn site less than 950 repayments a month at 18 lol. It might be a wise move to look at getting one before your leece expires though man because the house chains can sometimes take months.

Tried them, £757 before insurances and shit.

We could buy a £100k house, but we need work doing inside it and we want somewhere with parking etc. I'd rather wait a couple of years until we know what it's like paying bills etc.
