I would have bought him tickets, but he's recently had his 8th lot of Major open heart surgury and is still recovering... so I'm not sure he'd be up for Moshing at the gig.... so the CD is the next best thing me thinks.

Cheers Andy, but I'm not sure that is their most recent one... I looked on Play.com and they have got about 7 albums being released on 2nd July, so not sure which one is newest.

I saw Metallica last year, brilliant live.

There last album was St Anger, its not there greatest to be fair, stick with the old ones like Kill 'em all.

I don't know what there new one is but St Anger came out in 2003, when i saw them last year they said there new song was called the new song lol.

Cheers for the info mate... as I said above he has just had major heart surgery, so wouldn't be up for going to a heavy metal gig... he would have loved to have gone.... just like if I'd have had the money and if he was well enough I would have paid for him to have been in Dublin tonight for The Who & Velvet Revolver.
