View Full Version : WATER LEAKING FROM THE ALARM SENSORS

My saxo leaks water from the motion sensors in the car, i have tightened the aerial mount and i have acquired a 'new' sunroof but am a bit reluctant to fit it! Does anyone have any ideas to as what the problem is???

Could just be the sunroof seal. They are prone for leaking. Mine went when the car was under warranty and i got into it one morning and the passenger footwell was soaking. Shitroen put a new seal on and cured it. smileys/smiley4.gif

i have heard of it my mates have had problems like this owning a mk1 but i have a mk2 and i havent had this problem

Bloke i work with his son has a mk1 and the seal went in that and i've got a mk2 and it went as well. Fairly common problem.

Thanks I think I will take the seal out of the new sunroof and fit that, probably save me a few hours too!! smileys/smiley4.gif

mines leaking ,the sunroof pulls the rubber seal bak wen it closes tight , so i jus need to put loads of black silicone sealer in there!
