not saying all civic drivers are twats but i was driving past a school and some twat in a civic was trying to race me, looked like a right chav, i had my misses and my son in the car so i wouldnt have raced anyway, iv got a 1.1 so he would have blew me away so wats the point?

has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Another common thing i find is when driving along the road at night cars infront of me pull into the left lanes as if they are expecting me to rocket on by even though we are both already doing the "night time" speed limit in a 30.

Modified cars have such a low respect from motorists due to the amount of clowns driving them :err:

The reason i bring that one up is because last night a fiesta pulled in2 the bus lane so i could over take, even though there was a parked car in it 100 yards up the road & we are both already doing close to 40. It would have been a foot down effort for me to pass the fiesta with enough tie for it to get in the lane behind me without needing to brake :panic:

Just seems weird to me, like people are intimidated by modified cars.

Not that the exterior of my saxo is even modified :err:

Staggeringly inept advice, only do this if you are not sure whether you want yourself and your family to be injured. I hope it was said in jest, however I have seen this done and the results (admittedly on the motorway) were not exactly pleasant.

If you're going to tap your brakes because someone's up your arse end you're just as bad as them. Just drive for goodness sake.

Plus, if some idiot tapped their brakes causing me to go into the back of them it wouldn't be just their car getting hit.

i get the usual idiots in mercedes and lexus round my end, tried just showing my brake lights but they gave me a mouthful of abuse at traffic lights i gave them a mouthful back almost landing my with a black eye so if they do it now aint nothin else for me to do but pull into the nearest side road out the way

Yer :P , Another idea is , if they pull up on the left of you at traffic lights(wanting to race or giving you grief) and have there window open get your passenger(if you have one) in your car, to lean over and take their keys out of the ignition :p and drive off, then drop them off about 40feet up the road :y: then see whos laughing :A:

civic drivers well the new model are tossers, i live in swindon where the honda factory is and everyone that look sunder 30 tries to race u.
i overtoook one once at the speed limit i add, and he re overtook me and started swerving across the lanes infront of me what a tosser!
