I've never stayed with a company more than a year - there is always someone offering a better deal

Iv had similar problems before when I was getting quotes with RAC a couple of years back, got a quote of like 800 quid, which was the same the week after, so I sorted some money out and by then it had gone up 200quid!! so I told them where to go. It's a bit different if you have no choice though

with bell, add your parents as SECOND drivers and you should save around £200 - £300 as i did with Admiral (same company)

why do you have to stay with them? kick up a fuss and see if they do anything, if it goes up again as a consequence then whoops
