Hi, been offered a 12" Alloy Series 3 Vibe Active Subwoofer pretty cheap off a friend. Problem is he dont know much about it so does anyone know its spec? Have tried putting it in google but suppose coz its quite an old series theres not much info on it. Does anyone have one? Thanks...

tbh i dont really like vibe stuff at all, but all depends on how much he is offereing it for

stuck on a budget tho mate, only got £80 - £100 at the mo, got no bass in my comps so need something quick!

can get a JBL deal for 100 and will be a load better than vibe stuff, 2 mins ill get the link

cheers pred, just wondering tho... will a jbl sub fitted in a custom jbl enclosure sound any different to buying the same jbl sub, and just popping it in a standard enclosure? Also is there much difference to sound between ported and non ported boxes?

well you can do but may be more expesive mate, that deal is the cheapest one i could find, unless you look for some bargains on ebay
