Booked in with them today, does any other smokers fancy knocking the habbit with me?
I say habbit because thats what mine is, not an addiction, I dont rely on them just cant kick the habbit of putting them in my mouth..
There is a massive difference between habbit and addiction!

The smokin ban is a great idea.... went o my local on Sunday and it was nice to have a few pints and not come home stinking.
I'm an ex-smoker btw.
Did have to laugh a bit at the girls that were at our table, having to go outside with no coats, just to pollute their lungs.
Good luck with kicking it Ryan.... will be good for your littlen too.
Chris :)
already packed in, doing ok so far, its just when things start getting stressful that i find it difficult!

Im all for the smoking ban.....although it'll be wierd being in a club and it not being smokey!
Sucks not having ashtrays to stick your chewy in when your food comes though

Most clubs have smoke machines... ask the DJ to put it on for longer... the smoke from them is less harmful than the passive smoke from cigs.

Yeh it freaked me out the other night, was in a club and suddenly got drowned by a mist of stinking smoke from a machine!! couldnt breathe... but thinking about it i proberly wouldnt have even noticed if smoking hadent been banned!! weird.. the mind boggles lol

It's going to be great waking up and your clothes are smelling of fat birds rather than the smell of tobacco!

Im in the process of trying to kick the habit too, went to a few pubs recently and its much better to have a few pints without having to breath smokey air. Not that I mind it as im a smoker, just prefer nnot to have to come home stinking of it all the time!
