any idead what the bias valve does on saxos? i mean does it bias the front brakes over the back or does it just bias say the left back brake over the right back brake or vice versa.

I think its front over rear to avoid 4 wheel lock ups if you dont have abs.

I need to get one fitted to mine as i dont have abs and all the brakes have the same strength which is bad.

I think the ratio is 70 - 30 but not 100%

it's not a bias valve as such, it's a load compensator. it increases brake load to the rear if the boot is loaded, hence it having to be slackened off when the rear is lowered. At standard ride height it gives 84% braking load to the front and 16% to the rear (or at least that's the load figures they have to reach at mot)
