so, your saying its already lowered 40mm at the back and the front?, and your just going to drop the back another 40mm? so this making it 40mm at from and 80mm at rear, yes it would sit higher

I was playing with my torsion bar a few months ago and with my 35mm setup on the front, and the back lowered approx 80mm for a laugh, the outcome was this..........................

Well i suppose the easiest way would be those rubbishy jacks that spare wheels have.
use that to get it high enough for a proper jack

ive tried that but i can`t turn the handle round. i had to buy one of those electric jacks only one that fits. just plug it into the fag lighter and press the button. piece of piss

As for the whole having it set higher at the back etc, i disagree..
Mine is sat lower at the back by quite a way and its very oversteery..Go to a tarmac rally where vehicles with torsion bars are present..I'll put every penny i own that they sit lower at the back..
Remember people the Saxo is sat higher at the back than the front standard to make it more of a neutral/understeering car..All std road cars are setup to understeer at the limit as this is easier to control than a car that oversteer's like mad!
Its like this because if you go bailing into a corner and turn and you carry stright on the average everyday driver will lift off as this is a natural reaction..But this is how you correct understeer in a front wheel drive car..;)
Also the first Audi TT's were recalled as they were very ass happy so they had to be redesigned with a spoiler to stop the back end kicking out..
People will read this and come in chirping away about physics etc etc but i have been to enough rallies to see how these cars are setup i have also driven a Saxo with the back higher than the front and then the same car on the same suspension with the back lower than the front and there isn't alot of difference tbh..(i'm reffering to my car here btw)..
Maybe on std dampers the whole having the back lower will cause handling issue's but my car is spot on..No hint of understeer..I would imagine this is down to the fact i have billies all round..
This is one issue i can speak from experience on and in my case the car is perfect with the back lower than the front..

thats because they are shaped like an aeroplane wing and so at high speed they gained a lot of lift so tended to crash when maneuvering at speed. They forgot to look at Porsche who had been using a spoiler for the previous 40years lol

Looking at the saxo's I've seen lowered I'd say 90% or more appear lower at the back. Is this just the fact there are only a few height ajustments steps at the rear?
