Uprate battery?

Rite......

I have 55w rms front components, 500w sub and both are amped with amps (obviously) 4 guage wiring for the sub amp and 10 guage wiring for the comp amp.

I have the apline CDA 9855r head unit with ipod adapter, boot neons, and an inverter fing that im gonna be running a laptop and a ps2 off......

My question to you people is...... will the standard battery cope with this, or should i uprate it...... id rather not have a second battery..... too much hassle..... or is it?

standard battery meaning the original sized one yes???

id seriously upgrade it to a heavy duty one at least mate

run 4 gauge to a distribution block then from there 8 gauge to the amps

that should probablies do it, thats how my set up is :)

if you take a trip into dagenham and go down river road and there is a trade battery unit just b4 the lights. i went down there and asked for the biggest battery that would fit and got a monster for about £40. if your stock battery is old then you will get problems. how old is the battery on the car at the moment?

erm... im guessing its the same age as the car...... 1998

I just want to replace the one at the moment..... are they the same size?

the bigger the better mate and i would say defo change the battery as it will be very weak. i had a k&n filter on my vtr so had taken all the air box out leaving more room for a bigger battery.

Ah rite fair enuff.... but can ya get the same sized battery, just with more power....... thats what im after......

yes but even a new battery the same as the one on the car at the moment will be better. the place is called 5 star batterys.
