Fuel cap for saxo......help!!!

ive just gone and bought fuel cap for a saxo from halfords it it fits perfect and everything there is one minor problem though when i put my car key into the original cap and turn it too open it when i took the cap away i couldnt get my key back out of the original cap even when its turned to the right posistion any ideas how i can get my key back out? smileys/smiley5.gif

I had the same problem wen i took the fuel cap off my 106 2 put on the vtr and i couldn't get the key out,it mite depend on how many keys u got wi the car,cos i only got 1 set of keys wi my car,i couldnt fit mine.
ive nvr figured out how u get the key out even if u turn it the same way u put it in

if you stick your key in the cap and turn it, there is the white bit which turns with the key. The 2 sticky out bits on the bit that moves, needs to be pushed up and then the key can be turned a little bit further which, in theory locks the cap, releasing the key

I shoved a flat headed screw driver under and pushed smileys/smiley4.gif
