Help/Guide Needed

Hi All,

I have just purchased a in car PC as im sick of messing with CD's in teh car as they are all over the place, So i have got a in car PC so i can just shove it all on one HD and just edit a play list to what i want to listen to.

But the trouble is i never think of things before i buy! so i was wondering does anyone have a guide on how to modify the centre console to fit a Monitor in as the PC will be in the glove compartment. also the relocation of thing like Hazard lights and Rear window heater buttons.

Any help is appreciated.

tbh i would of just got an ipod mate much easier and smaller to use

theres is no guides to modify the centre console mate, although a think someone on SSC has just got a pc in theres

its all bout cutting making a frame for the screen and buttons etc then fiberglassing over it and smoothing out ready for paint or whatever you are covering it with

God Dam Pred you ever get RSI? your liturally on 247 lol but yeah i have a choice between one of them fold out monitors or build on into the centre console but want to do he best.

id say get a spare centre cosole and have a go at making a build on that, tbh its not that hard to do if you have worked with fibreglass before

have a look at stevenet15s glovebox screen build, maybe do something like that

yeah thaks for that, i left the thread there as it shows where he put the switches and it was easier aswell lol

imo i wouldnt have my screen on show like that, unless its garaged or has a very good alarm on it
