New PS3 and price cut in US

Sony are cutting the price of the PS3 in America by $100. They are also due to annouce the newest version of the PS3 tomorrow. Aparantly is going to have an 80GB HDD.

Hopefully this price cut will make it's way to the UK aswell. Now all we need to do is wait for them to bring out some decent games and it might be worth buying one :P

How does the GT series compare to Forza 2? I hated the old GT games because the racing was crap and the game physics was truely rubbish. I liked all the cars and modding them but the driving put me off.
I actually feel like I am racing in Forza...
Personally I'm holding out for the Xbox 360 Elite to come in August.

From what I've heard there is going to be a completely new physics system for GT5, but will just have to wait and see how it compares to Forza.
