right been have problems with my vtr/vts, had fuel return fitted and had it chucked onto the dianostics to see if comes up with any faults as been having running problems. came out with the following:

Code 01:
161 fuel pump relay open/short circuit to earth - intermittent fault

code 02:
193 cylinder 1-4/1-5 injection driver open short circuit to earth - intermit fault

Code 03:
194 cylinder 2-3/2-6 injection driver open short circuit to earth - intermit fault

Code 04:
225 injection coil 1-2/1-5 open short circuit to earth - intermit fault

Code 05:
226 injection coil 2-3/2-6 open short circuit to earth - intermit fault

Anyone shed any light on what these faults are and which part could be stuffed on the car etc? cheers

Sounds like a coil fault mate, faults 2,3,4 and 5 are all linked to the one fault. Has the car been missing?

yes it misses occasionally, but only once per run and only for about a minute at a time

Just a question. What do you used to make dianostic?

anyone with autodata shed any light on this?? do these faults mean my coil pack is dead?? although if it was my coil pack wouldn't my car miss all the time???

Its either a coil or spark plug related mate, it wouldnt come out with a coil fault otherwise

weird, well ill rip the spark plugs out either later 2day or on sunday and have a look at them. gettin car put on diagnostics again later to see if same faults show up again, if they do then its deffo what ever part is linked to the code is whats faulty. But still slightly confused as if it was my coil pack i would of thought car would miss all the time and not just once everytime i start the car for about a minute or less :S

Hi mate,

I've had coilpack trouble... sometimes the coilpack will break down slowly rather than straight away.. so you can get the odd miss every now and then, or if it breaks completely (like mine) the car just makes a funny noise, you smell burning and then you'll lose all power in your car ^_^ . Just check your spark plugs, make sure they arent black if they are then replace them and then get the car checked for over fueling... and if it continues then check the coil pack :y: and if it still continues I suggest taking it to a garage :D

Hope this helps?
