Well, whaddya think?

I can never be bothered to shave! I promised myself I would have a shave on Sunday night... and didnt.

Then last night I was deffo having a shave after finishing my assignment... then I didnt.

So I was supposed to shave this morning before Uni... But I didnt.

My bristles are now annoying the feck out of me, as theres 5 days growth smileys/smiley17.gif

But, can I be bothered to shave tonight?

Do you wet shave or electric?

I wet shave and ur right it is a pain in the ass, I sumtimes leave it grow and to be honest i look like a right tramp, and when workin in an office can be a bit of negative!! but its jus too much hassle to shave every mornin smileys/smiley13.gif smileys/smiley12.gif !! jus wish it didnt grow so quick smileys/smiley7.gif smileys/smiley7.gif smileys/smiley7.gif

I normally wet shave but the skin under my chin is a right arse so every now and then i use an electric to give my skin a break.
I shave when i get into trouble from suzanne or my mum and dad for looking a scruffsmileys/smiley4.gif

thats anotha thing i have a problem with shavin unda my neck, my skin is well sensitive and always burns like fcuk afta shavin and even after putting moisturiser on it smileys/homme.gif

lol, I too go to work sometimes with a few days growth... and look a twat in my shirt/pants.

But, by the time Ive been playing around on the plant with my helmet-hair I forget about looking like a trmap smileys/smiley17.gif

The longer you leave it though, the harder it is to shave, and the worse it stings to fuck when you apply aftershave after shaving.

I use a Wahl Hair trimmer about every 3 days! Can't remember the last time I shaved right down to the skin... I like the designer stubble look and the hair trimmer does it a treat! smileys/smiley4.gif

I leave it for 3/4 days and look like a right scruffy git. Try and kid myself i look manly, but then in the end i hack it off and then spend the next few hours in total agony.

1 good thing i've found is Nivea for men aftershave lotion. Really cools your skin......god i sound smileys/homme.gif

was thinking about what i was gonna write as i was reading everyones post, but you said it smithy.

i use king of shaves, in a little blue bottle for £4.99 it's an oil that i put under my shaving foam, it makes your skin slippy and works a treat. no red lumps or owt.

And i hope you all shave down wards till your jaw line and upwards on your neck, in short strokes, and wash your razor after every other stroke. Nivea aftershaving BALM is a godsend!!!!

i do, however at the time of writing, have exactly teh same problem, i can't be arsed. So fur it is. I'm being called elvis at the mo, cos i have big sideburns and then a little stick of hair from my earlobe across my cheek to my moouth. i think it looks neat, and the kids are loving it!!! and their mums!!!! smileys/smiley2.gif

I use a Braun Activator and it works for me. Self cleaning etc. Still doesn't make me like shaving though, but I have to do it regularly as it grows like fuck!

Scott thats maybe because your blade needs replacing, or if you shave EVERY day then its usually that mate.

Have a look at ur blade and there should be vertical stripes if not then might need a new one lol

Has anyone tried the new gillete blade that you stick a single battery in?

Altho i used to get a sore face after i shaved, now after i shave i cup my hands in the hot water then bring it up to my face all over where i shaved (a few times) i think the heat does something to the skin after its been shaved.
In the olden days they used to put a hot flannel on the gents face for 10min after he had the shave, so its kinda the same idea. well it works for me, i dont use any after creams coz the last time i used it my face burst into loads of spots. it was like i had a skin disease LMBO! © sax-p! © sax-p

You should use cold water or aftershave after you have shaven, as it closes the pours.

If you dont.. the pours stay open for a while and can get dirt in them, which will lead to spots smileys/fcuk.gif

If youve left your stubble fr a while, then try to hack it off with a dodgy razor yo udont half get bad shaving rash! smileys/fcuk.gif
