hi,
i went to look at this westcoast today and the drivers side lock was busted. so you had to use the passenger side door to get in then lean across. so my question is
how much is it to get a new lock and would it be a differnt key to the ignition.
cheers james

^^ f00k me
I'm afraid that I think you either have to change the door locks and have a seperate key to the doors, or change all the locks (ignition etc) and have a new key. Don't think you can get a lock cut to fit a key like you can the other way round.
However, try and get some money knocked off and get central locking fitted, and get it de-locked! (would be £200 ish well spent!)

mines got an aftermarket central locking system installed in mine, dont cost much, coz my locks are f**ked, someones drilled into them haha! dont know if you could just replace them, but if its the actual lock itself thats not working it isnt really a cheap job!

yeah it has central locking. would it be best to buy a alarm with a remote thing to lock the doors.

you could swap the barrels over, so u can still use the drivers side to open and close. also you could go to a scrappy and get some locks and a key.

swapping the barrells? yes, i had in done to mine and couldnt lock the driver side, screwdriver bit left in. i took it to citroen and they charged me £35 to do it. but i had a look and its really easy to do it yourself. it will work :P
