Nokia n73.. ARGH!

rite guys, second time my fones been playin up, different problem this time though.

everytime i go to send a text, or im receiving one it says "not enough memory to receive message", or "not enough memory to perform operation"

what i dont get is ive deleted all my messages, nearly all my songs and videos, but still its doing it!!

just wondering if anyone else had this problem? and if so is there anyway to fix it without needing to get the fone sent off!

lol i got mine from a vodafone shop so gotta go to town and sort it, cant be bothered though! i just want a different phone, i dont see the problem in just giving me a phone thats in the same price range and can be used with my price plan etc, if not then sh*t customer service really isnt it

Thats strange, mines only done it a few times, in saying that, ive only had the phone 2 weeks. If it keeps doing it then il send it back and change phones lol

i have an n73 and to be honest i should have realised with the old n70 i had there a waste of a phone,

i have had so many problems with n series :(

have you got the problem yet where you get the voice mail thing in the corner but you dont have one ? i was the 5th person in 1 hour to take a n73 with that problem to the local orange shop near me :P

Mate, if you go on Nokia website there is a download for N73.....which speeds up the sms servicing and updates the faults....I did it on mine a few months back and had no problems since....I will try dig it out

When I first had the N73 going back 12 months now.....when ever I sent or recieved a text message it would freeze and take ages to load back to home screen......So I downloaded the sms software which speeds it up and its worked fine ever since tbh.......

ok mate, my phone has disconnected it says and my phones gone off :S :S but the update thing is still going, did yours do this?

Not to sure what you mean mate......

All I did was.....Plug my phone in via USB Cable...downloaded application and then it says install on your phone and then its done.....So you send a text and its alot faster

well basically during the updating process my phone turned off and on the computer it said phone disconnected, but its meant to happen cos its worked still lol, it just reconnects itself near the end.

Had no signal at my house for ages, then full bar for 5 seconds then nothing...

But it all seems ok at the min, alot quicker than it was
