I was on my way to have something to eat last night before picking my g/f up from her friends when a car crept out of a junction right in front of me. I saw her stop at the junction and look straight my way then last minute crept out, so I slammed on my brakes and tried to go around her but still she knocked my wheel. Now I need a new front passenger alloy, steering rack and maybe a front strut. Been to the garage to see what the damage was and phoned my insurence, but now she is trying to say she is not to blame. HOW CAN SHE SAY THAT???????
Sorry about the rant but had to get it out of my system.

had a passenger in my car but so did she and he is keeping her part but i was on the main road and she came out of a junction so there is no chance the blame can be put on me but she is still denying it

word of advice, if there being funny about it, be a c**t and claim wipelash!!
My sister had someone hit her from behind and it took a year to sort out! She claimed it wasn't her fault!?
Gutted Andy... similar thing happened to me, except the girl in question was entirely apologetic at the time. Speak to Laura; Donk (lol) the mechanic will help you out if you can get the parts from scrappy... He fitted my clutch. Top bloke

whip lash,if they aint intrested ........get to the doctors i would
Hmmm a single alloy should'nt be that expensive, not sure how hard it is to fit a steering rack... Sounds like you've been quite lucky really matey could have been alot worse. (I know it won't feel like it, thats what people said to me when that bint drove into me!)

could be wishbone, and possibly bent arb aswell maybe fucked driveshaft, they may write it off depending on how bad it is sorry to say mate, i had the same sort of damage and only just got it fixed.
do lots of diagrams etc... and write a huge report and get it to the inruance asap! the sooner you get it to them the better.
people will allways never admit blame now unfortunately its the enviroment we live in

if needbe repair it yourself with scrap parts, struts can be got £40-60 a pair, wishbones are not to bad, steering racks can be picked up cheap aswell (although it will prob be a bent track rod more than anything usually) and not the whole lot.

if the police stopped did you get a ref number as they will have good evidence, such as the way the cars were positioned at the scene of the accident.

Had a little good news today the wheel is not buckeled but will still need to be refurbed so if any one knows how much and where i can get this done around my area it would be much apreciated. Does anyone have any idea if i put on my insurance that the car was worth £1000 how much would they pay out to repair it before they decide to write it off?

Cant belive some people. I was told by the insurance company that she had acceptet liability and they were willing to pay for the damage themselfs all I had to do was get a quote and phone them up. Did this but all of a sudon i was told they will not be paying and she is not taking the blame that i was speeding and my brakes werent working.
Can she do this?
i got new pads and my brakes done a week before and i had just seen a under cover cop car and knew this was a known place for people being pulled over not that i would be speeding anyhow.
